In April 2009 the Program “Inspirational Leadership” for the CJSC “Kyivstar GSM” management was finished. This Program was developed and delivered by TMI Ukraine (business unit KMK Business Training, Ltd.)  Before the Program realization the vast effort was made by the Kyivstar top-management team to analyze existing and desired (targeted) corporate culture, for reconsideration and renewal of the company vision, mission and values. One of the results of such work was revision of managerial competencies.

The objective of the Program “Inspirational Leadership” was to support managers in their better understanding, how the best manager shall operate in the future, the role and responsibility of manager in conditions of mature market, the key aspects of management, which require special attention of leaders at the new stage of the company development. TMI Ukraine proposed to realize the Program in  form of Workshops to help managers to shape the proactive attitude towards changes in the company and willingness to support these changes.

The Program “Inspirational Leadership” consisted of 14 two-days workshops-seminars for the company management from all levels and also included consulting support of the whole project. In period from November 2008 till April 2009 more than 350 managers took part in this Program.

“By means of this program we managed to deliver the message to leaders, that the main task of managers on all levels is to admit and accept new challenges and communicate them clearly to the employees” – comments Etery Zhdanova, head of the Kyivstar Human resources development department. The program was evaluated as very successful and decision about its continuation was made by Kyivstar  top-management.
