1975 - Time Manager International, TMI, was founded in Denmark by Claus Møller and is today a world-leading learning consultancy. The first product launched by TMI was the Time Manager®, a goal-based planning tool with a unique philosophy and the first in the world of its kind. The program was not just on managing time, but also lifestyle, attitudes, people. The Time Manager concept soon developed into a unique philosophy that has become known and recognized all over the world.
1978 – TMI offices appeared in United Kingdom, Austria, Belgium, Finland and U.S.A
1981 – an exceptional service management program “Putting people first” was delivered for the whole staff of Scandinavian Airlines (SAS). Afterwards a book “Moments of truth” highlighting this process, became a bestseller. After 12500 people had been trained, SAS became an air company of the year.
1983 – British Airways applied to TMI with a request to train 36500 in order to form corporate culture. Similar programs were created for Lufthansa and JAL.
1984 –“Stress management” course was introduced.
1985 – TMI starts to work in the USSR.
1988 – TMI delivers a number of programs for European Economic Community for 16000 people.
The same year TMI was recognized the best consulting and training company of the EEC. Claus Møller developed a new program “Management for Everyone”. This training session was adopted by the EEC as a part of Commission regular programme on labor issues. Claus Moller hosted series of programs “Business Matters” on BBC, then his book “Personal Quality” was published. He was recognized by the UK Department of Trade and Industry as one of the leading service guru. The first electronic system of time management “Key Results” was created.
1991 – New book “My Life Tree ” was published and new philosophy “Employeeship” was marketed.
1996 – A book “Complaint Is a Gift” becomes bestseller.
1997 – Program “Emotional Intelligence” was launched.
1999 – TMI Australia initiates first National culture research concerning managing complaints.
American Management Association recognizes TMI training delivered for SAS as one of the 75 managerial decisions which have played historical role for the world.
2000 – “Complaint Is A Gift” reaches 4% level of total business books sales. Now it’s available in 18 languages. National culture research concerning managing complaints involves 250 organizations in 6 countries. Time Manager training for MS Outlook was designed. New book “Emotional Value” by Janell Barlow and Diana Moll was published.
2001 – TMI is represented in 41 countries being able to deliver trainings in 20 languages. Number of participants is more than 5000000, number of consultants accounts for 150 people.
2002 – a new leadership program for managers was launched By TMI. The program is focused upon the decision of exact problems and achievement of results in everyday life by means of practical instruments of leadership potential development.
2004 – the number of participants who have been trained by various TMI programs reaches 6000000.
